Mary McAlary has served as President of Delamano, Inc. since 2007. She has chaired many programs for over 15 years providing furniture, clothing and holiday gifts for victims of domestic violence in the Greater Lawrence area. Ms. McAlary also sits on the board of the Garden Street Apartments in Lawrence, MA and is a former board member of the Essex Art Center, Lawrence, MA. She also was a founding member of DeWolfe Cares, a community outreach program supporting the Home for Little Wanderers

Sandy Almonte (Co-founder)
Sandy Almonte has over 16 years experience working with victims of crimes. She joined the Women’s Resource Center as a sexual assault counselor and community educator. She currently works for the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) and is a domestic violence specialist and supervisor of the North East of Central Region of Massachusetts. Ms. Almonte is a co-founder of Delamano, Inc. and serves as its Treasurer.
Wendy Luzon (Co-founder)
Sheila Richards enrolled in the Safe Haven workshops for domestic violence. Upon completion, she helped women in abusive situations. Since 2009, Ms. Richards has been a volunteer in the Lawrence community, working with Family Services as a CASA; a court-appointed advocate for children at risk, and most recently, as a mentor to teens who are aging out of the foster care system.
